PURPOSE
Verdi is a comprehensive digital brand identity and mobile application designed to elevate second-hand clothing exchange through a playful, premium, and eco-conscious lens. The task required launching a modern mobile brand from scratch, encompassing strategic naming, a modular logo system, launch-ready assets, and an editorial UI experience optimized for light and dark modes. The visual identity beautifully pairs sun-drenched, meadow-inspired photography with a custom typeface system featuring a primary logo, a simplified wordmark, and an independent rose icon.
ABOUT CONCEPT
The typeface Apparat Light was selected for its elegant proportions, balancing the environmental theme with an upscale, high-fashion boutique aesthetic. Integrating the rose icon into the letter V symbolizes the beautiful "blossoming" of a second-hand item, shifting the perception of pre-loved clothing from "waste" to a timeless "treasure." Finally, stripping away the icon for the secondary wordmark ensures incredible digital adaptability, creating a minimalist "Quiet Luxury" hierarchy that keeps the focus entirely on the bright, curated product imagery.
